Our Story
Squosh Social was created from real, lived experience. Our founders also run the award-winning Squosh Compacting Company, the UK’s first mobile bin-store management service.
Through years of working in communal bin stores, we saw the same issues again and again:
- Furniture dumped because residents couldn’t transport it
- Oversized cardboard blocking bins and attracting fly-tipping
- Contaminated recycling leading to missed collections
- Good-quality items being sent to landfill
- Residents wanting to do the right thing but having no accessible alternative
Squosh Social was born to fill that gap — offering a solution that is both environmental and social.
