Squosh Social was established in 2025 as a Community Interest Company with a simple purpose: to help tackle furniture poverty while reducing the amount of good-quality furniture and household items going to waste.
Working with local charities, housing providers and community organisations, we collect unwanted furniture and essential household items, check and prepare them for reuse, and redistribute them to individuals and families experiencing hardship.
By connecting items that are no longer needed with people who genuinely need them, Squosh Social delivers practical support to local households while helping to reduce waste, encourage reuse and create greater social and environmental value within our community.

From collecting, preparing and delivering furniture to working with referral partners, volunteers and local organisations, everyone plays a part in making sure support reaches the people who need it.
We are a small, hands-on team, which means we can work flexibly, respond quickly and build strong relationships with the organisations and communities we support.
